Background and Origin ?
The name 'Akaija' was given to Wim Roskam by his passed love Linda.
Knowing Linda, Wim suspected she wouldn't just have fantasized a nice ringing name.
So when searching the internet for a clue about its meaning and origin Wim and his new love Marianne discovered that 'Akaija' is used in the language of the island Anaton of the Vanuatu island group in the South Pacific, meaning 'We All'. And what's more... combining etymology and numerology Akaija means: We are One !
Besides this, the design of the Akaija is an example of so-called Sacred Geometry.
So isn't it interesting that recently I discovered a youtube video from Unesco, picturing indigenous people from the Vanuatu islands, making geometrical sand circles, telling how this knowledge is passed on from generation to generation. It's their gate to Paradise as they say!
So watch here (please wait until fully loaded) a YouTube video about the Vanuatu indigenous people....
