Reproductions

On www.akaija-art.com you can see Wim's other art: paintings, objects and jewellery, being inspired by his guardian angel Amhirez, who was a painter himself once, and by his passed love Linda, who was very creative and during her live often remarked, "I have so many ideas, I only need someone to work them out".

Slowly we will introduce some of Wim's art on this webshop as reproductions. We would have done so much sooner, but we discovered that reproducing these paintings is a specialist's job. Wim uses extremely subtle colour nuances and the equipment for reproducing is simply not advanced enough to make perfect reproductions.

We now have found a specialized photographer (John Tromp in Rotterdam) and we are in contact with several print houses for the reproductions.
